A Little About me

I’m an animator and illustrator with a keen interest in the area of hand drawn 2D animation. I love how you can take drawings from the page and bring them to life.

I grew up in Farnborough, Hampshire and moved to Kent to study Illustration and Animation at the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury.

I've always loved drawing since a young age, and want to expand my skills and bring life to my ideas through animation. I  work in coloured pencil, water colour and inks as well as  digitally, confidently using Adobe software like Photoshop, After Effects and Premier Pro. Colour and texture are key to my practice and I love pushing myself to learn new techniques.

I have worked for clients such as CAMHS mental health charity and Seadog Books in which I was project leader for both teams. I created the animations and promotions, as well as overseeing presentations, timings and feedback for our groups, ranging from 4-6 people. Recently I was part of the award-winning Free Range Orchestra’s exhibition entitled ‘An Exploding Plastic Inevitable’ in which my work along with others was projected in Canterbury and Ramsgate to 450 members of the public. I also took part in an exhibition for ‘The Kentish Book of Folk’ in Ramsgate’s Music Hall, where I exhibited a lino printed graphic novel and projected my film of an animation to an audience of 100 people.

My love of film started from a young age and it's my dream to create work that brings wonder and joy to people as those animations did for me.
