Divide - Recently chosen as a finalist by the London International Animation Festival in their 'Best of Next' category. A short about life within a divorced family. I wanted to give my own experience as a child of divorce - the negative and positives. Divorce is something many families go through nowadays, yet a topic surrounded with stigma and often not spoken about at all.

Opening Up - A collaborative project for CAMHS Mental Health Charity. I was co-team leader on this project for a team of four as well as co-animator and editor. I animated the first 25 seconds, as well as putting everything together in Adobe Premier Pro, adding subtitles, end logo and sound. I really enjoyed working in a team for this project and pushing myself to work to someone else's character design.

Symphony - A short animation about a young girls first experience seeing an orchestra and what she envisions while listening to the music. This animation was made in response to my dissertation entitled 'Metonymy in sound: how do short animations utilise non-verbal sound to provoke emotion?'. I utilise both analogue and digital mediums in this frame-by-frame animated short , focusing on colour contrast and texture.

Just One Small Thing - A short animation drawn using frame by frame analogue animation and edited in Photoshop and Premier Pro. This was in response to a charity that works with communities to plant trees, supporting the environment, vulnerable communities, and offering jobs to women.

Animatic example

Opening Up animatic - This is an animatic I put together with imagery from my team for a group project for CAMHS Mental Health charity. My colleagues and I discussed the narrative and they then put together the storyboard. After, I put it all together with the sound and timing into Premier Pro, making sure it fit to the timing of the audio.
